Our Beliefs

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and the only authoritative Word of God.

• We believe it is the guide and rule for every facet of our lives.  As a congregation, our first priority is to honor God and be true to His Word.

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to heaven.

• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.

• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

1. We are a Bible-based and Grace-based church.  We want our church family to be Bible based in all areas of our lives, to know what the Bible says, and to live by the Bible.  We want to be a church that demonstrates the grace of God in how we care for each other.  Saving grace is transforming grace.

2. We are an equipping church.  Our desire is that every member of the FBC family has the opportunity to grow spiritually and be equipped for the ministry that he or she is passionate about.

3. We are a Mission/Evangelistic-minded church: obedient to the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and faithful to the biblical model of evangelism.

4. We are a church which is God-focused - worshipping, praying, and proclaiming the Sovereignty of God.
